A recent project by Bitte Design Studio, featuring Oslo.

“To design is to understand not only about the aesthetic, but more about the context, the experience and materiality.” Those sums up the whole design approach by Indonesian well-known design firm, Bitte Design Studio. Established in 2012, Bitte Design Studio known as a design firm that develops architectural an interior specializing in restaurant, bar, retail, hotel and residential projects.

Chrisye Octaviani and Agatha Carolina are both founders of Bitte Design Studio. The design approach of Bitte is a carefully considered combination of materials, detailing and precision combined with practical problem solving unique to each project.


Standard Denim Supply retail store at Plaza Senayan, South Jakarta, is one of the recent project accomplished by the duo designer ladies with their team from Bitte Design Studio. The façade of the store features a modern look with a clear glass window and black profile with the brand logo. While entering the interior, the ambience seems to be more warm and casual with the domination of wood materials.

As seen on the opening image, Oslo Coffee Table by Monoliving was picked by Bitte as a part of this retail project. The teakwood based coffee table was perfectly placed in the store and blend with the whole ambience.

Oslo Coffee Table is one of coffee table collection released by the local brand Monoliving. The furniture brand was started in 2016 with comfortable, sustainable and customizable as their taglines. Oslo Coffee Table is available online at kisahruang.com/shop.
